The 1999 Ranger Supercab is available in four models - XL and XLT in two and four wheel drive. For 1999, all models feature a Class III frame-mounted trailer hitch, a 3.0-liter V6 Flexible Fuel engine and several new interior and exterior color combinations. Four-wheel drive models are equipped with front tow hooks, a tachometer gauge and automatic locking hubs as standard equipment. All models features pivoting rear quarter windows and rear jump seats as standard interior equipment. The XLT 4WD is also available with the optional XLT 4X4 Off-Road Group which includes upgraded wheels and tires, off-road suspension, fog lamps, skid plates and a 4.10 rear axle ratio. An optional limited slip axle is available for additional safety.
