For 1999, the Crown Victoria is carried over from last year mostly unchanged and is available in two models - the Base model and the LX. New features this year include standard anti-lock brakes, AM/FM stereo cassette (on the Base model), optional leather seating surfaces added to the Comfort Plus Group, and All-Speed Traction Control is now a free-standing option. Standard features include the SecuriLock anti-theft system, rear window defroster and 16-inch wheels with wheel covers. New exterior metallic colors for 1999 include Deep Wedgewood Blue, Light Blue and Harvest Gold. The LX includes remote keyless entry system, cassette player and a 6-way power driver seat. The Handling and Performance package is available as an option.
