The Eldorado is available in two models- the Base and Touring models. New for this year is the available massaging lumbar seats which gently massages back muscles to improve blood flow to supporting muscles. Both models now have an audible theft deterrent system and electronic compass as standard equipment. The Eldorado is equipped with either the 275 hp Northstar V8 for the Base or the 300 hp version for the Touring coupe. Both engines can operate in limp-home mode for about 50 miles in case of total coolant loss. StabiliTrak is available to improve the vehicle+s stability on all surface and all speeds. Optional equipment for the Eldorado include a power sliding sunroof, trunk storage system and 12-disc CD changer.
