The 1998 Prelude coupe is available in two models. The Prelude is unchanged except for a new color, White Diamond Pearl. The automatic transmission features a Sequential SportShift that allows the driver an option of shifting manually. The stereo system features a 120-watt Acoustic Feedback (AFB) System to monitor sound quality. The AFB automatically corrects the electronic signal if it detects any distortion. The ignition key features the Immobilizer anti-theft system that reads the digitally coded radio signal and disables the fuel injection and ignition if an attempt is made to improperly start the car. The SH features an innovative Active Torque Transfer System (ATTS) that enhance vehicle control and stability when turning.
