The 1998 Impreza is available in three models - the L coupe, the RS sedan and the L sedan. As a new addition to this line-up, the RS features a 2.5L 165 horsepower engine. All models feature air conditioning, power windows and power door locks as standard equipment. The Gauge Pack is optional on all models and includes an outside temperature gauge, compass, barometer and altimeter. The RS is equipped with an oversized rear spoiler, a hood scoop, special ground effects and Gold tone alloy wheels. Optional equipment includes a keyless entry system, an upgraded security system and a Compact Disc player. Interior standard features include retractable cup holders, tilt steering wheel and reclining front bucket seats.
