The 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine is originally from the second generation Camry and its front suspension and all-wheel-drive system are borrowed from the Celica All-Trac. Safety features consist of side impact door beams, high mounted stop lamp and energy absorbing steering wheel. In addition to several appearance packages, optional equipment available include anti-lock brakes, aluminum wheels and cruise control.
