The 1997 Mustang Cobra is available in two models - coupe and convertible. Cobra is basically a carryover. New for 1997, Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) and redesigned (smaller) remote keyless entry system. New exterior colors include Rio Red and Pacific Green. Also new features include light group, upgraded carpet and sport bucket seats with power four-way driver's seat. The Cobra is a limited production model built by Ford's Special Vehicle Team. The Cobra upgrades the GT model with Option Package Group 1 and 2, floor mats, limited slip axle and remote keyless/illuminated entry system.
