For 1997, the F350 Crew Cab is available in three models: a single rear wheel (SRW) 2WD and 4WD and a dual rear wheel (DRW) 2WD. The Crew Cab comes with a standard payload capacity of 3540 on the 4WD, 3985 on the 2WD and 4620 on the DRW. Similar to earlier models, this model F-350 has standard dual gas tanks and an eight and a quarter foot truck bed. Last years standard 4.9L I-6 engine has been up graded to a 5.8L V8 with a 100,000 mile tune-up. The F350 still comes with a standard AM radio but offers a premium stereo with compact disc player.
