For 1997, the F350 is available in four models - Regular Cab with single rear wheels and dual rear wheels, Regular Cab 4WD and SuperCab with dual rear wheels. A new 7.3Ldirect injected turbo diesel engine is optional for all 1997 models. All models offer XLT Preferred Equipment Packages at a discounted price. The 4X4 model has an optional Off-Road Package which includes skid plates, front/rear stabilizer bars and 4X4 Off-Road decals. Functional changes include a larger standard engine and standard rear wheel anti-lock brakes.
