The 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera is available in six models- coupe and convertible in 2WD and 4WD. New for 1996, the 911 Carrera introduces the 2WD Targa and 4S coupe models. Also new for this year is a more powerful 282 horsepower horizontally opposed six cylinder engine and Litronic headlights. Standard safety equipment include driver and passenger airbags, anti-lock braking system, fog lights and limited slip differential. Power windows, automatic temperature control, cruise control, and tinted glass all come standard. Optional equipment available are a compact disc player, heated front seats, cellular phone and six-function computerized driver information center.
