The 1996 Passport is available in five models - DX, LX, EX 2WD; LX and EX 4WD. The Passport is the sister car to the Isuzu Rodeo and is built by Isuzu for Honda. For 1996, all models now feature driver and front passenger air bags, redesigned instrument panels and a shift-on-the-fly four-wheel-drive system for 4WD models. In addition, the EX 4WD includes standard four wheel anti-lock brakes. Standard features include tinted glass, rear window defroster, reclining front bucket seats and cup holders. Additional standard features include outside mounted spare tire carrier, locking glove box and front center storage console. Safety features include halogen headlamps and child safety rear door locks.
