New for 1996, the Splash features optional passenger side air bag with deactivation switch. Standard equipment offered are flareside truckbed, dual power mirrors, illuminated entry system, power steering and tinted glass. All four-wheel drive models comes with auto locking hubs. Optional equipment include a 4.0 liter V6 160 hp engine and a 4 speed automatic over drive transmission. Optional features available include air conditioning, power windows, power door locks and tilt steering.
