The 1996 Sebring Convertible is available in two models - JX and JXi. All new for 1996, the convertible enters the Chrysler line-up replacing the Lebaron. The JX features a 2.4-liter 150 horsepower engine, rear defroster and speed sensitive power steering. Standard convenience features include air conditioning, variable intermittent wipers and cup holders. The JXi upgrades the JX with a V-6 engine, four wheel anti-lock brakes, remote keyless entry system and a theft deterrent system. Other features on the JXi include power mirrors, an eight speaker Infinity sound system, cruise control, floor mats, leather wrapped steering wheel and illuminated visor vanity mirrors. A compact disc changer is available as optional equipment.
