The 1996 Express Van is available in five models - G10, G20, G20 Extended, G30 and G30 Extended Vans. All new for 1996, the Express Van enters the Chevrolet lineup and features the new Vortec engines. The Vortec engines have more horsepower than previous Chevrolet engines for improved performance. Longer wheelbase provides for an easier entry and exit for improved convenience. The new exterior has wide-opening rear cargo doors with hidden hinges that make it easy to load large objects. Safety features include halogen headlamps, tinted glass, intermittent wipers and dual airbags (except on G30 and G30 Extended Vans). Available options include air conditioning, power door locks and power windows. Marketing Option Packages are also available.
