The 1996 Audi A4 is available in two models -- front wheel drive sedan and all wheel drive Quattro sedan. New for 1996, the A4 includes a 172 horsepower V6 engine with a five-speed manual or optional five-speed automatic transmission. Options include power glass sunroof, remote locking system, leather covered sport steering wheel, expandable ski storage bag and white pearlescent metallic paint. The Quattro features all wheel drive with electronic locking center and front differentials. Both models include dual air bags and side impact safety protection.
