The 1992 SL Class is available in two models - 300SL and 500SL sports cars. For 1992, the 500SL features both a removeable metal hardtop and the first fully-automatic soft top, and comes equipped with both. The 500SL also features a retractable roll bar which pops up when a rollover is sensed. It is padded and covered with leather, and can be raised and lowered by a remote console switch. Other features include an electrostatic air filtration system in the cabin.
